From beach sand to botella clay, the rugged terrain and dramatic inclines offer a myriad of opportunities for dynamic fruit expression. Mindful clonal selection of equal parts Clone 17 and Wente and bespoke for each of the forty two unique blocks further amplifies the diversity of this parcel which has swiftly become the predominant core of our wines.

Perilune Chardonnay
Greg Brewer in the winery on a ladder
Winemaking
Whole cluster pressed Chardonnay. Only neutral barrels are employed during fermentation with no lees disturbance. Malolactic fermentation is neither encouraged nor inhibited, allowing wine to be in balance, bright and elegant. All of the wines are produced with the intention of aging and cellaring for at least 10 years and can easily be enjoyed after 15 years.
