OUR WINERIES

Brewer-Clifton, Diatom, Ex Post Facto, and Perilune are four critically-acclaimed Santa Barbara County wine labels by Winemaker and Founder, Greg Brewer. For Greg, the motivation behind his wines is away from one’s ego and towards humility – working closely with the vineyards and the teams that care for them to produce wines that are deliberate, driven, and transmissive of the voice of place.

BREWER-CLIFTON

Since its founding in 1996, Brewer-Clifton has remained devoted to expressing the singular character of the Sta. Rita Hills through Chardonnay and Pinot Noir. Every decision is made in service of revealing place with clarity, honesty, and precision.

DIATOM

Diatom is Greg Brewer's pursuit of Chardonnay in its purest form. Guided by a philosophy of subtraction and refinement, every decision is made to reveal place with transparency, precision, and as little interference as possible.

EX POST FACTO

Ex Post Facto encapsulates Winemaker Greg Brewer's almost deviant desire to step outside the Brewer-Clifton paradigm in pursuit of a new muse. It is an exploration driven by curiosity, freedom, and an unwavering commitment to transparency.

PERILUNE

Born from the lunar-like landscape of its namesake vineyard, Perilune explores a new expression of place through neutral élevage and a single concrete egg. The result is an intimate, uncompromising interpretation of the Sta. Rita Hills.
